I am so excited! I just ordered this magazine and can't wait to read it. It is totally in line with my core values. I will tell you all about it when I get my first issue:)

I am on the web, looking for a new bag to hold everything, including diapers, water bottle, cell, etc. and this is what I find.   I love, love, love  it and can't ever, ever afford it, even at wholesale prices. I wish when I was in Thailand, I found designs like this. I even had dreams of making one. Those beautiful textiles with my love for antiquity (and pom poms). It's just not fair :( Thank you etsy designers for helping me dream big! I cant ever spend that much on an accessory, especially when this is going on!

As far as design, this sunshine/mustard gold is my favorite color right now (hence, why I feel like overdosing on Vitamin D during the rainy season) and everything about this  is screaming for me to get in.  The color combination this week (not a national standard. just for me, of course) is magenta and gold. Like a wild fire.

I am drooling over this design!  Sara Hicks Malone.... your play room is dreamy! I am sure that this room would bring any child great peace. It's like she's taken all my favorite landscapes in Arizona and New Mexico and combined them into my feelings for how children should be raised... in one location... it feels so soft, almost glowing.

This has been on my wish list for a long time (along with this but I gave up on this already when I realized how much they cost) and this year I might actually get it (but if you are my most beloved husband and are reading this and you can't buy it for my birthday, that's okay too)! I think this is the most wonderful thing if you practice yoga and want a little extra something to kick your practice up a notch or if you are like me and have a giving birth injury that a little hanging upside down or intense stretching might help. I have been thinking of how to make one but I don't trust my sewing skills yet to make something I have to hang from a tree or the ceiling from. I haven't even made a baby sling yet, which is probably the easiest thing in the world to make for this exact reason.

That's all for now, my mind needs to quiet and dream nice thoughts.

Handmade Challah Cover

  Every Shabbat, our day of rest from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, we have two Challah loaves (more than enough to feed everyone) covered beautifully. When we were freed from slavery, The Great Creator blessed us with manna from the heavens when we were in need of nourishment.  It's hand embroidered and 100% linen.

I am grateful that my boys have reminded me the pure delight of splish- spashing in really muddy puddles. My two favorite things: kisses from my boys and watching their joy as they play in the mud. Not to mention an easy (and oh, so natural), stress release ((for us mamas))!!
